Abstract :
A two-element sensor array was modeled. Preliminary results showed a significant difference of transmission coefficient level with the presence of the tumor and the decreasing level of the transmission coefficients when tumor shifts off the center. Moreover, an investigation carried out to study the effect of skin layer shows the skin layer reduces the coupling between two sensors and it is feasible to use the simplified no-skin models for tumor detection. The experimental detection results in both frequency domain and time domain will be presented later in the conference.
