  • Abstract
    Due to the increasing of reliability, safety and economy of industrial processes, fault diagnosis techniques in electric machines have taken great importance in the last years in the field of investigation, among the fault approached they highlight the electric faults such as the short and open circuit stator coil. With the employment of power electronics for the speed control of induction motors, the fault analysis becomes more complex in this system. This work present experimental and simulation results obtained with the test platform and the proposed algorithm for fault detection in a single-phase induction motor drive
