Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a design of antenna array consists of a triangular microstrip antenna elements, containing a V-shaped slot and short-circuiting wall for the stroke detection. The simulation results, which have shown the difference in return loss up to 3 dB, are quite encouraging and suggest that the proposed system is sensitive enough to detect even small changes in the brain. The sensitivity of the detection of these changes can be provided by using of reconstruction algorithm (Fhager et al. 2006) used in microwave breast cancer detection.
