Abstract
Semiconductor manufacturing feature is high-product-mix and small-lot-size production, and the productivity becomes much worse owing to the short life cycle of production goods and the frequent change of the demand within a short time period. Therefore, it is very difficult to optimize the production schedule. In this paper we verify the effectiveness of applying Lagrange Decomposition and Coordination Method, which is a well-known optimizing method for scheduling problems, into actual scale problem in Semiconductor manufacturing.
