Abstract :
Environmental concerns and a lack of fossil fuels have resulted in rapid growth in the need of energy consumption and pollution reducing and the demand of better energy metering system, especially for industrial enterprises. Existing metering system has a disadvantage of low sampling accuracy and few sampling points and can´t meet the requirements of smart, digital, integrated and automatic metering for modern industry. According to these situations, a four-dimensional coordinated Energy Information Management Center (EIMC) is designed and implemented in the frame of advanced metering infrastructure in this paper, with the application of Comprehensive Information Theory and several computer technologies. EIMC has integrated distribution measurement, data acquisition and processing, control and dispatch, balance prediction and energy management in one system. A demonstration system has been implemented in Daye Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd. and obtained good economic and social benefits.
