Abstract :
Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method, SSADM, has come of age. System development managers look increasingly to SSADM to be their structured approach to system design. The author discusses the development of SSADM, the development approach, system maintainability, extensibility and portability. He considers SSADM as one of the open methodologies and why it is gaining market share.<>
