Abstract :
A dynamic model has been found in this article based on multi-body system dynamic theory, which can be used of researching of the dynamic characteristic of scraper conveyor sprocket transmission system. The dynamic model includes sprockets, chains, middle troughs, transitional troughs and scrapers. The main parameters of components are considered, such as mass parameter, inertia parameter, geometers parameter and constructional parameters, etc. According to interaction characteristic between main components, high contact pairs are mainly used to modeling the dynamic model. As an example, dynamic simulation is carried out on the condition of electromotor rated power output. And then, dynamic loads of sprocket and chains are exported and analyzed. The dynamic model of scraper conveyor sprocket transmission system can offer more veracious border condition for sprocket tooth profile optimization, structural strength evaluation and fatigue life prediction for key components.
