Abstract :
In this paper, we have studied the computational error of the point matching method which is a kind of mode matching techniques. It is clarified that the error convergence rate and achievable minimum error depend on the combination of the parameter delta and delta1. We have proposed the way to predict the error for given parameters and predict the mode numbers under the desired digit of accuracy.
