Abstract :
The results of an activity on single and dual offset reflectors show that the beam shape (circular or elliptical) degrades and the beam section ellipse rotates versus steering angle and versus the offset degree. For very low offset degree, as for dual reflector system of Feq./D = 3.75, these effects are tolerable also at ten H.P.B.W. of steering. Furthermore a rapid inexpensive and accurate technique for evaluating the Beam Pointing Direction is described, usefull for antenna analysis.
