Abstract :
This paper proposes a resonant circuit procedure analysis for a multi-Watt MCEB with step-dimming. Data collected from a set of T5 lamps, HE and HO series, with an experimental prototype will provide detail regarding the operation of this ballast in compliance with the SoS limits. The analysis of these experimental results will validate the step-dimming mode for a specific set of FLs by guaranteeing stable and proper electrode operation.
