Abstract
A small-width trapezoidal patch antenna is presented. Parametric studies on the influences of the widths on the patch impedance and resonance frequency are performed. A feeding technique based on a coupling slot in the patch is proposed, which leads to a compact structure. Experimental results confirm the numerical ones.
