Abstract :
The use of electric compression on rural electric utility systems is quickly becoming a necessity for both the electric and gas industries. To this end, new technologies are available to limit the technical and economic difficulties associated with electric drive compression. This paper discusses one of these new technologies: ESelect TM Dual DriveTM Compression Technology (patented); its ability to mitigate the disadvantages and enhance the advantages of electric compression
