Abstract :
Discusses how LinBiCMOS facilitated the design of a printer driver chip with some demanding requirements. The IC takes serial data into a 32 bit shift register. The data passes in parallel mode into 32 latches where it is held as long as required. Dependent on the data in the latches the 32 output drivers are turned on by the presence of an output enable signal. Separate output enable signals are provided for the odd and even drivers
