Abstract
In this paper, a novel interference coordination scheme based on Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) for mitigating inter-cell interference in Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular systems is presented. In both OFDMA and SC-FDMA systems, inter-cell interference is the most important interference source. Inter-cell interference coordination is considered to improve coverage and increase date rate at cell edge. Some interference coordination schemes such as Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR) are proposed in 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE). However, the existed schemes always have not researched the interference issues on both the downlink and uplink interference at the same time. And some algorithms like SFR have low spectrum efficiency because the cell edge users can only use a fraction of the entire frequency band. The simulation results show that, the scheme we proposed, can not only improve performance of the cell section, but also get higher throughput for cell-edge users.
