Abstract :
Equipment within nuclear power stations must meet its safety functional requirements throughout its installed life. This can only be accomplished by a thorough programme of qualification, quality assurance, design, production, testing, installation, maintenance and surveillance. The authors describe the methods employed in the design and development of LV switchgear to meet the prospective conditions and operational requirements imposed on equipment at sites of PWR power stations
