Abstract
The presented results show that the XETS is a very good antenna candidate for UWB applications, being very compact (0.33lambda0 times 0.33lambda0) where lambda0 is the lower bound of the frequency band, very stable radiation pattern and polarization for all observation angles and high output pulse fidelity. Further results for a prototype scaled for the FCC defined band will be presented at the conference.
