The effects of seismic and environmental qualification testing on the electrical components incorporated in the pressuriser over-pressure protection system for Sizewell `B´

The authors describe how qualification of the Sebim relief and isolation valve systems for the overpressure protection system of Sizewell B power station was successfully accomplished and the systems operated on demand throughout the test programme. Performance changes which did occur were not sufficient to compromise the operation or the integrity of the system
