  • Abstract
For typically-sized elongated mobile phones of today (T. A. Laitinen, et al., Nov. 4, 2005), when oriented along z axis, the azimuthal spherical modes may be truncated at M = 1 without crucially compromising with the accuracy for many practical applications. In the case of a similar, elongated mobile phones (that are oriented along z axis) beside a head phantom, the azimuthal mode power is spread only partly to higher order modes so that M = 2 is sufficient for obtaining a relatively good accuracy for the total radiated power.
