Abstract :
Europe has a special need for improved prediction methods in the microwave bands with a view to having interference coordination areas covering several countries at a time. The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory has taken a significant role in the 10-nation European COST Project 210. The results of clear-air studies in the 1-30 GHz region, hydrometeor scatter studies, and diffraction studies are discussed
