Abstract
In this paper, firstly, the combined field integral equation (CFIE) of hybrid PEC-dielectric formulation is derived to speed up the iteration. Then, the PE bases, combined with the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA), are introduced to efficiently solve the scattering of electrically large metallic objects coated with dielectric sheet. Several numerical examples have been given to show the high accuracy and efficiency in solving scattering from electrically large coated objects.
