Abstract :
Computed Tomography (CT) is among the most current technique applied in medical imaging. Base on this reason CT courses has been introduced in most of the Biomédical Engineering especially in electronic based program in many universities in the world including Malaysia. CT involves several steps in producing real time slices images of the scanned body parts which comes from the application of the several mathematical theoretical concepts behind it. Sinogram which is based on line integral and Radon transform concept is among the important part in the image reconstruction algorithm processes which is sometime not well explained and abandon by the researchers. This concept is quite important for an academician and also the researchers since sinogram capable in explaining the beautiful part of radon transform and line integral application in producing the image of an object. The quality of the produced image also can analyzed based on the generated sinogram. In this paper, sinogram is generated through the use of MATLAB software with Shepp-Logan head phantom as the object.
