Abstract :
Aperiodic antenna arrays with low side lobe levels are designed using a procedure which incorporates antenna parameter thresholds into a generic genetic algorithm optimization routine. The use of thresholds improves the overall efficiency of the genetic algorithm based optimizer by reducing the complexity of the cost function.
