Abstract :
From the historical development of wireless communication technologies and radio spectrum resources regulation, the relationship between open spectrum movement and some new wireless communication technologies, such as UWB in China is discussed in the paper. Some UWB research works from our laboratory is also summarized. It can be concluded that the age of radio revolution, unlicensed and singular class wireless is coming.
