Abstract :
We explore the possibility of using periodic and aperiodic arrangements of sources inside a Fabry-Perot cavity (FPC) made of a ground plane and a partially reflective surface (PRS). The cavity is used to enhance the gain of each source. The enhanced gain permits to design array antennas with large distances between the radiating elements without the occurrence of secondary lobes.
