Abstract :
This paper deals with the optimal control problem arising in manufacturing environment with multi-stages, in which the dynamics of the process take the form of piecewise differential equations with control constraints, and a combined time-energy cost functional. The necessary conditions of optimality are presented by variational methods, and a simple example of kinetic system is shown to illustrate the results in the paper.
