Abstract :
The paper presents a quick-start CMOS voltage reference built within a positive LDO processed in a double-metal 0.5 mum CMOS technology. The reference consumes 10 muA, while delivering a stable output voltage of +1.25 V. The quick-start feature allows the active charging of an external 10 nF bypass capacitor within 200 mus. Power supply rejection ratio is 100 dB at low frequencies, while typical TC is 20 ppm/degC, and untrimmed VREF spread 25 mV (plusmn3sigma)
