Abstract
The design and analysis of a new quadband antenna have been presented. The antenna is suitable for integration into mobile devices especially laptop computers and offers advantages in size, cost, and performance. Future study will concentrate on extending the antenna bandwidth to cover the UMTS band. Further antenna size reduction is necessary for smaller laptops.
