Abstract :
This paper propose a new IR-UWB scheme - the OQD IR-UWB scheme. It generates and receives UWB signals through digital ways. A high speed ADC with one-bit quantization is designed for the receiver. It achieves high data rate with reasonable complexity and power consumption, and is easy for implementation on digital IC´s. Simulation results show that, at moderate multipath environment, good performance can be achieved at 110 Mbps data rate with simple data recovery algorithm. Details on implementation of the proposed scheme are also discussed.
