Abstract
Because of the higher degree of knowledge, interactivity and heterogeneity of service, Knowledge-Intensive Business Services (KIBS for short) plays an increasingly important role in international economic development. But there are some problems in the application of traditional organizational structure in KIBS. In order to find a more suitable organization for KIBS, this paper analyzes the features of KIBS and the application problems of traditional organizational structure in KIBS. Based on this, the paper proposes that the services of KIBS must be providing by modular or customized mode, and the process of services is a project from the essence. Therefore, KIBS is suitable to establish project-oriented organization. The paper explores the mechanism of project-oriented organization in KIBS and tries to establish a project-oriented organization in KIBS which is organized by the temporary and permanent and is realized from three layers: the enterprise layer, the project group layer and the project layer.
