Abstract
A simple and interesting computer technique is presented for modeling, and simulating the response of linear dynamical systems with major nonlinear elements to both deterministic and, or random inputs. The technique can be implemented on any home computer that can make use of the students version of Matlab. Two examples are presented. The first is a nonlinear soft spring and the second a phase locked loop with large signal excitation
