Guidelines for the installation of mobile radio transceivers have been developed by the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Department at the General Motors Proving Ground. These guidelines detail locations for antennas, transceivers, and interconnecting wiring to minimize the effect of radio-frequency energy on the electronic vehicle systems.
