Abstract :
This work has investigated the effects of various parameters of AMC structures comprising different metallizations on the high-impedance bandwidth and resonant frequencies, for various metal shapes. Through these studies, insights into the roles played by these parameters may be gained, which could then facilitate proper designs of AMC structures and judicious selections of appropriate metal shapes to be put into advantageous use in numerous antenna applications.
