Abstract :
The scalable analytical model given above could be quite useful in the design of a mushroom FSS, as a preliminary estimate. A bandwidth can then be defined for these surfaces, which is a function of dimensions and relative permittivity. However, translating the resulting bandwidth to that of an antenna used in conjunction with a FSS is not always straightforward.
