Abstract
This paper has presented an investigation of the convergence properties of the method of moments in the modeling of frequency selective surfaces, in both cases of sub-domain and entire-domain basis functions. Convergence criteria have been obtained in the case of capacitive and inductive FSS, and a physical explanation of the different phenomena have been provided.
