Abstract :
The authors discuss the implementation of a high-speed data acquisition system, applied to naval vessel classification. The high-speed radar data-acquisition system has the advantage of high conversion rate (50 MSPS), high resolution (8b), and large capacity (256 K×8 b). The system consists of an autoranging wideband video amplifier, a high-speed A/D (analog/digital) converter, a control circuit, 256 K×8b high-speed buffer memories, a D/A (digital/analog) converter, and an interface adapter
