Abstract :
Powerline communication (PLC) has advantages for communication, but PLC should be complemented before being used for long distance communication in distribution automation system (DAS). In this paper, we propose the composite communication system which becomes more reliable and flexible by connecting PLC network with the existing satellite, TRS, and HFC (hybrid fiber coaxial) networks
