Abstract :
OFDM technology has been changed high-speed data flow into the low-speed data flow through the serial to parallel conversion and transmitted on several orthogonal narrowband sub-channel parallel. It has widely application prospects which can not only increase the transmission rate and the capacity of the wireless communication system, but also effectively resist multi-path fading as well as restrain interference and noise. The Simulink toolbox in Matlab is used to set up a simulation model for OFDM communication system simulation, the scatter Plot and SNR curve are also given based on the established model. The simulation results indicate that, in the same symbol rate and the same Eb/N0 case, QPSK bit error rate is lower than 16QAM, QPSK has a better performance than 16QAM. When transmission rate is the same, 16QAM is higher than QPSK in the rate of information transmission. When the SNR is increased, the channel estimation algorithm for OFDM system is lower bit error rate much than that of without channel estimation algorithm for BER.
