Abstract :
In manufacturing systems, integration of information has become a decisive production factor. We consider this integration, based on a model of knowledge built on the manufacturing route-sheet. In this paper, our goal is to propose a route-sheet generation decision-aid method for assembly processes, on the bases of previous experiments. The goal is to deduce from the older products the route-sheet of the new product. Thus we need to determine similarities between products. We present our research on the "know-how-realize" the product modeling. This modeling is based on both product and process. We define the nature of the products similarity in assembly processes.<>
