Abstract
In this paper, a hierarchical modeling technique is proposed to model large size power/ground planes by cascading macromodels of small size power/ground planes. Practical example indicates that the method gives high accuracy and high efficiency for time-domain simulation of power/ground bounces on the conductive planes in high-speed MCM
