Abstract
Singapore is transforming its economy to one that is innovation-driven and knowledge-based. Research and development (R&D) in science and technology (S&T) is an important driver for economic growth in such an economy. The National Research Foundation (NRF) is charged with implementing national research, innovation and enterprise strategies and fund relevant programs to drive this transformation.
