Abstract :
This paper proposed a hierarchical variable universe fuzzy controller for the control problem of double-tank system. A hierarchical variable universe fuzzy controller is able to reduce the computation complexity of ordinary fuzzy controller, while achieve an efficient, accurate control. Simulation examples and comparison with a PID controller show that the proposed controller controls the system much better, and is applicable to other nonlinear control systems.
