Abstract
The Authors present a new approach of finding out unreasonable activity loops. The approach was named as DRM (distance reachable matrix) which introduced distances into reachable matrix and could show activity loops and distances directly in elements of the matrix. The definition, operating rules of DRM and others related to DRM were described in this paper. At the end, the approach was applied to a practical process, the loops and distances were found out quickly. The approach provided a new resolution to the BPR (business process reengineering).
