Abstract :
Computer design of a shunt slot array including external mutual coupling has been demonstrated in many places.(1) (2) Series/series coupling slots are often used to feed two dimensional arrays. However, the analytical model of the coupling slot is not available. Therefore, arrays must be matched experimentally. Two methods are described, i.e., direct tuning method, and the two layer feed method.
