  • Abstract
A new structure using a multirate technique for FIR adaptive digital filters (ADFs) is proposed. The convergence of the proposed ADF is accelerated in proportion to the increase of sampling rate while the minimum MSE and the optimum weights of the proposed ADF are constant values regardless of the sampling rate. The simulation results show the improvement in performance that can be achieved with the proposed structure
