Abstract :
This paper introduces the benefits of connection control protocol (C2P) in the frame of DVB-RCS satellite networks. C2P not only solves mesh connectivity but allows QoS control enhancements, dynamic multicast group handling and even allows the introduction of a security key exchange architecture.
