Abstract :
A novel probe-fed semi-disc patch antenna is presented. A single shorting-pin is introduced to substantially reduce the antenna dimensions with improved VSWR (<2:1) bandwidth. The characteristics and variations of resonant frequency and impedance bandwidth with different antenna thickness are given
