Abstract
The electromagnetic interference between the communication antennas themselves and the supporting tower necessitates the special attention throughout the design cycle for proper control of electromagnetic interference. This paper presents the simulation of the effects of a metallic communication tower on an antenna radiation pattern by using the numerical simulation technique Method of Moments (MoM). The radiation hazards generated by the antennas in the critical near fields are assessed and the antenna coupling is also analyzed
