Abstract :
In this paper, we discuss the study of smooth transition section in microwave regeneration system of diesel filter. A transition method of gradual change section is adopted. The microwave energy in rectangular waveguide can effectively transfer to the column regeneration cavity through the special diversion of electromagnetism mode. It gives a better matching between microwave source and regeneration cavity. As a result, the microwave energy of reflection and wastage is diminished as much as possible and the microwave energy can act on filtration body. It has effectively solved the transition problem between microwave power source´s rectangular waveguide and column regeneration cavity. In addition the influence on current distribution that the perforation on the transition section waveguide wall makes is analyzed
