Abstract :
The radial field distribution of the regeneration cavity affects regeneration efficiency directly. In order to improve the radial field distribution in the cavity, a layer of dielectric material is filled between the wall and the ceramic filter. The electromagnetic field distribution of the filled cavity is analyzed in this paper, which theoretically proves the improvement of the field distribution in a filling regeneration cavity. The best filling thickness and permittivity of the filling material is also computed in the paper, which provides the theoretical foundation for an optimum design of the regeneration cavity
