Abstract :
A skyhook control policy was selected and analyzed based on the character of Magneto-Rheological Fluids (MRF) Dampers, while the skyhook control model was established. A half roll plane vehicle model with 4DOF was simulation analyzed for the control strategy. The control method was investigated in two aspects including the vehicle ride comfort and handling stability through three basic input signals. They are heave type input, sinusoidal type input and moment (force) type input. The damping coefficient of MRF was adjusted according to the simulation results, and the ride comfort and handling stability of vehicles were greatly improved.
